Windows XP - Auto Login with a Password

I was setting up a Windows XP VM today. I ran into the problem of needing a password protected local account so that I could remote into the machine as well as needing an application to launch upon login. I came across a Microsoft technote regarding this and the solution turned out to be quite simple.
1. Click Start > Run.
2. Type “control userpasswords2″
3. Un-check the box that say’s, “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.”
4. Click OK, you will be prompted with a dialog asking for the user name of the user to auto login along with their password. Fill the form out and restart the computer.
Doesn’t get much easier than that.
